In corporate genre what world encounters first are the employees .The employees are the face of the organization, hauling business to the association. They are the first to which the clients interact. It’s rightly said that- the face says it all. A healthy face attracts every one and reflects energy; this goes down well with the healthy employees too. The brighter aspect of the employee is directly proportional to the internal working of the organization. But contradicting the above points.
‘A happy employee is a myth today’
A Deloitte shift index revealed that about 80% of the employees are dissatisfied at their workplace. Some of them may muster up the courage to change their organization while some may grin and just continue.
Another survey says- “The great majority of employees are quite enthusiastic when they start a new job. But in about 85 percent of companies, employees’ morale sharply declines after their first six months—and continues to deteriorate for years afterward”. Apparently employees are mal-nutrition .They are hungry for the productive environment and adequate compensation for their efforts. And here the objective of happy employees does not make up to the grade.
The management today unwittingly diminishes employee motivation, if not outright destroy, their enthusiasm. Exhume the management chapters, pooling to the vigorous supportive environment is the requisite for the internal working system in the corporate. Therefore the management should cultivate the environment in which the employees can contribute the most. Contributiondenotes something more than the regular assigned task of the employees. Employee are seen contributing when they puts their best foot forward to benefit the organization. But why will employees even try to do that and how long will they continue, when they find their no personal benefit in it. Long after “barter system” still exist today. To get, give it.

Intrinsic motivation is technique to feel a driving force towards accomplishing the goals. It generates the passion and interest in the job. Hr manager triggers the intrinsic motivation. They make the people believe in what the company sells. Creative visualization also helps in intrinsic motivation. It helps employees to see through ideas and relate to the goals.
On contrary, the extrinsic motivation is from the supportive environment. Money, competition, awards accolades are examples of the one. Employees are to be motivated through money, incentives, bonus to contribute for the organization’s betterment.
Even some popular games help in resorting injured motivation and restoring status quo. Few are puzzle game, tug-of-war, blindfolded obstacle course that helps in learning, talk all the way which is helpful for introvert employees also it helps in breaking the ice between the co-workers and improves productivity. Cricket, basketball, volleyball are other fascinating games that escalate workers motivation level and compel the employees to contribute more. Winners feel motivated and losers strive for the best performance. Hence both are benefitted.
Surprisingly, a simple smile is a great motivator and helps employees to perform better.
Contribution is never a one way process. Contribution comes in when it’s equally contributed. It’s like a return gift on a birthday eve. In the same way organization can never be healthy if employees suffer from malnutrition. The employees fill the hollow of the organization and hence the organization should feed the best to the employees, then only they will reciprocate in the best of their abilities. The organizations have options for various motivational programs and should run them keeping in mind the existing need of the employees.
